New Features This Month (September): What’s Live in ArtVault

It’s been a busy month for ArtVault, with progress across the app, database, and user experience. Here’s what’s new:
iOS App Progress
We’ve started on building an iOS app. It’s still early days, but the foundation is taking shape.

This required a total rewrite of some of the base code and improvements to how images are stored. Along the way, we also made important updates to improve security and stability.
Database Growth
ArtVault’s collection continues to grow rapidly:
- 1700+ artworks now in the database
- 1500+ artworks are public and viewable
- 150+ artists represented—and counting daily

Localization Work
We’ve begun work on localization, starting with support for units and currency. This will make ArtVault more accessible for collectors around the world.

User Profiles Expanded
Profiles now allow collectors and artists to share more about themselves:
- Descriptions to introduce who you are
- Website links to share your portfolio, gallery, or socials

Welcome Guide
We’ve launched a new Welcome Guide to help first-time users explore the platform.
