New Features This Month (August): What’s Live in ArtVault

We’re excited to roll out another round of improvements to ArtVault! This August, we’ve added five powerful new features designed to make collecting, sharing, and managing your art even easier. Read on for the details, and don’t forget to swap in your own images where noted.

1. Guess the Artist Game

Each day, test your art-world savvy with our new Guess the Artist Game. You’ll have five chances to name the creator of a featured work. It’s a fun way to learn new artists, compete with friends, and see how your knowledge stacks up in the community leaderboard.

  • Same artwork for everyone—fair play!
  • Track your daily streaks and all-time high scores.
  • Share your results easily on Discord, Twitter, or Facebook.

2. Add / Edit Artwork Images

Your artwork evolves—and now your image gallery can too. We’ve unlocked full edit capability so you can:

  • Add extra shots (detail, framing, signatures).
  • Remove outdated or duplicate photos.
  • Reorder to change which image appears first.

Simply open any artwork entry, click “Manage Images,” and start customizing.

3. Suggest Edits to Artworks

Be a steward of the ArtVault community by suggesting corrections or enrichments for publicly visible artworks. Whether you spot a typo in the provenance or have additional exhibition history, your contributions help everyone.

  • Submit suggested changes directly from the artwork page.
  • Track your accepted suggestions and earn community badges.
  • Review others’ suggestions and vote to approve or request revisions.

4. PDF Collection Export

Need a polished, printable snapshot of your entire collection? Our new PDF export does exactly that. Customize the cover page, include artwork notes, and download a single document—ideal for insurance, appraisals, or sharing with friends.

  • Choose which fields to include (title, dimensions, purchase date, notes).
  • Select cover image and add a personal foreword.
  • Download with one click—no watermark, fully formatted.

5. Artwork Collaborators

For those special pieces created by two or more artists, you can now assign multiple collaborators to a single record. Reflect partnerships, collectives, and joint exhibitions accurately in your archive.

  • Add as many artist names as needed.
  • Specify roles (e.g., co-creator, editor, publisher).
  • Display all collaborators on public and private views.
